"My newest CD, the first in 6 years, is now available for sale at our website store.
Recorded in December of 2012, this CD turned out to be a family affair and hence it's title. My talented family all pitched in here and there to bring my little songs to their sweetest place ever. My wife, Shannon and my daughter Morgan, lend their voices to four tracks all told; son, Aron sings great backup harmonies, and son Taylor plays a tasty harmonica part.
Special thanks to Mike Ulvila who sang backup, played numerous instruments, recorded, mixed
and plain put it all together.

We joyfully announce The 1st Annual Richard Leigh Songwriter Festival!
On Saturday, May 18th Richard will welcome four of Nashville’s Hall of Fame hit songwriters to come the Virginia Highlands Community College campus in Abington, VA for the 1st Annual Richard Leigh Music Festival. The day-long celebration will feature performances by Tony Arata, Mark D. Sanders, Dennis Morgan, and Roger Cook. Together these tunesmiths have penned #1 songs for Garth Brooks, Trace Adkins, Crystal Gayle, Reba McEntire, George Strait, Faith Hill, and Randy Travis, and many more.
The festival also includes a 5K Walk to Foster Hope, a Songwriting Contest, and a Songwriter's Jam!
Supporting Foster Care Students
Richard enthusiastically agreed to return to the VHCC campus, rally his friends from the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame, and lend his name to the upcoming festival that will celebrate the art of songwriting and benefit VHCC’s Great Expectations Program for foster care students. Because Richard lost his parents at a young age and was later adopted, the cause is one close to his heart.

01/13/2013 A great time was had by all on "Larry Joe Taylor's 13th Annual Coastin' and Cruisin" Royal Carribean cruise out of Galveston. Richard joined LJT, Keith Sykes, Kelly McGuire, Dave Perez and John Garza (Tejas Brothers), The Mike Mclure Band,
and 300 fans for week of great music on the high seas!
